EB Clinet Online Seminar ā€˜Cancer in EB: epidemiology, diagnosis and management’

In this seminar, leading EB expert Prof. Jemima Mellerio will explain which individuals with EB are at risk of developing cancer, how it presents and what we know about the natural history of these tumours. We will discuss how to engage patients and their EB teams in surveillance and what to do if lesions that are suspicious for squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are found. A framework for investigating and staging SCCs will be presented along with current surgical and non-surgical treatment options in the context of holistic multi-disciplinary care.
